Within Salon Jacks' walls, styling hair is not an occupation its a way of life. The award-winning studio in the heart of S. Tampa is famous for its group approach to great hair, a loyal clientele and an owner whose name has appeared in publications such as Cosmo, Allure, Harpars and many more. While owner Chad Malm shears have worked magic on a long list of celebrity clients, here, the only hair he's interested in is yours.
"We only hire people who are inspired by what they do and are on fire for it," Chad says. "All new stylists undergo extensive training. It takes about a year to get on the floor." The passion doesn't stop with hair; the salon is constantly finding ways to give back to the community, whether through locks of love or by hosting fundraisers for Susan G. Komen. It's that community-centric mindset that has earned the salon loads of local praise.

I decided on Salon Jack after 2 weeks of researching salons. I'm so glad I went there! I have very long, very think hair which I get bleach highlights in. This is a lengthy process. Jutta not only cuts and colors my hair beautifully, she then goes back thru and makes sure she cut every single split end! Truly the best hair cut and color I have ever had! I leave there feeling amazing, and I personally believe it is underpriced!

A small-ish salon, a comfortable atmosphere, and most of all, they really know how to cut & highlight hair. I've been trying to find a place since moving to Tampa 10 years ago. This place is the best. Not overpriced. You can go knowing they will do your hair the way you like. I always see Jutta. I ask her opinion and she gives me good advice, and I have always walked out with a cut and highlights I love. I have had people stop me on the street and ask me where I go to get my hair done - I think that says it all!

I went to Salon Jack one time, and never went back there. The receptionist acted strange like she didn't want to be around me. The stylists dressed strange and in cheap looking clothes. I got a free consultation and the stylists were not very helpful. I thought all of this was just me being too critical. Well, a few days later, I started receiving harrassing telephone calls. I had to call the phone company. I had a feeling it was coming from someone there at Salon Jack. The calls were very disturbing. NEVER WENT BACK THERE. WIERD PLACE.
