a Florida treat! Reviewed by LauraGFamily on

My husband and I dined at the Shells location on St. Pete Beach. We were vacationing for two weeks in Pinellas County and unfortunately departing the next morning for our cold home up North. Our entire dining experience was professional, delightful, excellent to put it mildly, and the food was scrumptious and cooked to perfection. I had the steamed lobster and being from New England joked about Shells not stuffing. I don't believe I will ever order a stuffed lobster again!! Our waitress was a delight, very professional and even enjoyed my husband's sense of humor. The prices were quite reasonable and the food quality was good. The overall experience fell right into southern hospitality.
Pros: Not a ton of vegetarian options
Cons: old building
Most over-rated seafood restaurant Reviewed by paula22 on

Food is just medicore at best. When I moved to Tampa everyone would tell me to go to Shells. I have to say the place and the food has never impressed me.
